The nature house consists of: Entrance door to: The kitchen/dining room with dining table and chairs, oak beams, comfortable sofa and armchair, large fully equipped kitchen, windows or doors on both sides of the room give a beautiful sunny aspect. On the side you enter: The living room, which has old oak beams. There are comfortable sofas, coffee tables, TV with free-to-view channels and the bookcase and games for those who want them. Another door leads to another: Separate WC with sink Fully tiled shower room with shower cubicle and sink, large mirror with lighting, washing machine and ironing board. A staircase leads to the master bedroom with king-size bed, closet, dressing table and bedside tables Bathroom with shower cubicle, vanity unit and WC Second large bedroom with king-size bed, chest of drawers, closet and bedside tables Third double bedroom with 2 single beds, closet, bedside tables Fourth double bedroom with 2 single beds, closet, bedside table.
Nature and surroundings
The barns are ideally situated in a rural setting in the golden triangle between the historic 'Cité Médiévale' of Gourdon, medieval Sarlat and the pilgrimage site of Rocamadour. We are close to the Dordogne River, where you can experience all kinds of activities, from just relaxing on the river beach to renting canoes, to lazing on the river, having a picnic lunch or a drink in one of the many cafes or a trip on a historic Gabbare in Beynac. If you love prehistory, this area has world-famous caves to visit and cave paintings with World Heritage status to view. One of these caves is just 5 minutes away. You can visit the weekly local markets where all kinds of fresh produce can be bought - ideal for foodies with the local specialties. The kids will love it here because there are so many attractions for them. There is a steam train at Martel and flying demonstrations with the Eagles at Rocamadour.
