Nature house in Žirovnica

With its outdoor area, the house is perfect for unwinding. It’s not visible from the outside, but still offers a great view of the surrounding mountains. Hikes are possible both directly from the house and in the immediate vicinity.

Samo will pick you up at the parking lot at the base of the mountain. He’ll drive you to the cabin.
You can drive up the mountain through the barrier using a pass.
Once you arrive at the cabin, it’s nothing but peace and quiet!
Everything you could possibly need is there. Outdoor toilet and shower. Outdoor kitchen where you can buy gas and use the BBQ.
Inside, the cabin is very cozy and inviting. The only minor downside—if that’s really important to you—is that there are only two USB charging ports to charge your phone. But that’s all part of the experience!
Samo is very helpful with everything and responds to messages right away.

Je wordt opgehaald op de parkeerplaats beneden de berg door Samo. Hij rijdt samen met je naar het huisje.
Dmv een pasje kun je door de slagboom de berg op rijden.
Eenmaal bij het huisje is het een en al rust!
Alles wat je nodig moet hebben is er. Buiten wc en douche. Buitenkeuken waar je op gas kunt kopen en op de bbq.
Huisje binnen is heel knus en gezellig. Enige min puntje, als dat echt belangrijk voor je is, is dat er maar twee usb laadpunten zijn om eventueel je telefoon op te laden. Maar dit hoort allemaal bij de beleving!
Samo is heel behulpzaam met alles en app tussendoor.

Nothing but peace and quiet. The cottage is located on a stretch of unpaved road (closed to other traffic).
Surrounding the cottage is a small lawn and nothing but trees.

Een en al rust. Huisje ligt op een stukje van de onverharde( afgesloten voor andere weggebruikers ) weg.
Rondom het huisje een grasveldje en alleen maar bomen.

A beautiful place and a unique experience in a lovely country. A great location for visiting Bled and the Vintkark Gorge.

Prachtige plek en een bijzondere ervaring in een mooi land. Een prima locatie voor een bezoek aan Bled en de vingtkarkloof.

It was a wonderful experience! The house was great—everything we needed was there—and it was a beautiful, peaceful spot, surrounded by nature (though there is a long forest path that you have to drive back and forth on quite often). Samo, the host, was very friendly and thoughtful. We found the cottage cozy but a bit dark. You had to fetch your own drinking water from a nearby spring—it’s a bit of a hassle, but also a fun experience. You also get used to the lack of Wi-Fi pretty quickly.

Het was een mooie ervaring! Het huis was prima, alles was aanwezig en het was een prachtige rustige plek, midden in de natuur (wel een lang bospad waar je vaak heen en weer rijdt). Samo de host was heel vriendelijk en attent. Wij vonden het huisje gezellig maar wel een beetje donker. Drinkwater haalde je zelf op bij een nabijgelegen bron, dit is wel een beetje gedoe maar ook leuk om mee te maken. Ook dat er geen wifi is went snel.
