This naturehouse is a 200 year old Piemontese style farmhouse which we have dedicated several years renovating to create a unique rustic home with all modern comforts. We have managed to retain many of its original features the concave brick ceilings, the old doors, cotto tiles, balconys and frescoes. On the first floor we offer three individually designed guest rooms including the garden suite which has a kitchenette, lounge area, balcony, bathroom and terrace. Priced at 110 euros per night, including breakfast. There is also a small service room with a washing machine for guest use. On the ground floor there is the guest lounge with its frescoed ceiling and comfortable sofas. A perfect place to relax on a cool evening in front of the roaring log fire. From the lounge there is access to the cantina a large room ideal for parties or business meetings. Breakfast is served in a separate dining room or on the garden terrace.

Nature and surroundings

This naturehouse is in the heart of the UNESCO Barbera wine region of the Monferatto, it nestles at the foot of an amphitheatre of vineyard edged with hazelgroves and copses of natural woodland. The farmhouse is surrounded by ornamental English style gardens full of perfumed roses and Lavender. The adjacent meadow is brimming with wild flowers and is home to hares, numerous colourful butterflies and a huge variety of birds. Often a few deer can be seen grazing on the grassy pastures or the occasional wildhog bounding down to the river below for a well needed drink. The surrounding area is all designated national wild life park with many walking and biking trails. There are quaint villages and towns close by with colourful markets and artisan shops. There are also famous cantinas offering wine tastings and various events. During the summer months many villages have their festivals where you can sample local food and dance till dawn.
