Beautiful two-story farmhouse nestled in the countryside, surrounded by about 9000 m² of land with olive trees, vines, fruit trees and a large vegetable garden, just below the impressive Etruscan Orvieto. The recently renovated house is functional and comfortable with restored furniture from the family collection. The owner's family lives in a separate building on the grounds; the property also houses cats, dogs and chickens. The A1 highway and the Milan-Rome-Naples railway pass through the valley below Orvieto and about 1.2 km from the house. The house is an ideal base for visiting Umbria and southern Tuscany, while Rome is easily reached within an hour by car or public transportation. Parking inside the fenced property. Nature and surroundings
Orvieto, 0.8 km - One of the most historic towns and monuments in Umbria, characterized by its almost "suspended" position from the great volcanic rock and the presence of the Duomo, one of the most beautiful Gothic-Romanesque cathedrals of great importance in Italy. Also of interest in Orvieto is the historic center with the Torre del Moro, the Palazzo del Popolo, the Pozzo di San Patrizio and the Orvieto Underground. Bolsena, 31 km - Beneath the imposing Dragon Castle lies the territory on the shores of Lake Bolsena, of volcanic origin, which is the largest in Europe. The lake's beaches are dark in color, a consequence of the volcanic lake, beautiful and perfect for relaxing and fishing, as well as surrounded by fields, olive trees and vineyards. The lake also has forests of oak, chestnut, and willow trees with vast reed beds full of birds typical of the lake area. Notable archaeological prsenzer.
