The nature house is a stylishly renovated vacation home in the middle of a small village in the Creuse (870 kilometers from Utrecht). On the ground floor (36 m2) is the living room, open kitchen, shower and toilet. The second floor has two spacious bedrooms (18 and 15 m2). In the garden is a third bedroom (10 m2). The covered porch (2.5 x 7 meters) in front of the house has a picnic table. The garden (about 60 m2) is enclosed by a traditional stone wall with hedge. In the second part of the garden there is a wooden construction pool (3.90 meters in diameter). There is also a trampoline and gas barbecue. The village with 25 friendly inhabitants, has very little traffic. In the garden, in the middle of the village, traditional French rural life passes you by. Feel free to bring your dog. The extensive nature and sparsely populated area are ideal for hiking and / or mountain biking. As you can see, there is a narrow asphalt road between the house and the garden where you can park your car.
Nature and surroundings
The Limousin region alternates between grassland and forest. It is a predominantly agricultural region with many rural villages. This region is part of the Massif Central of France. The department of Creuse, named after the river of the same name, is part of the Limousin. The landscape in this green and sparsely populated area consists of hills, wooded banks, stone walls, groves and forests and is intersected by rivers, streams and trails. The Creuse is therefore known as the green heart of France and is the area with the greatest biodiversity of flora and fauna in France. The meadows are decorated, as it were, with the brown and white of the Limousin and Charolais herds. You will also find a lot of wildlife, such as deer, foxes, wild boars, and so on. The Creuse Valley has many picturesque villages that have been captured by many a painter. Would you like to fish? The house has a fishing license for fishing in Lake Felinas.
