In the south of the Vosges, part of the Parc Regional des Ballons d'Alsace, lies the village of Le Val d'Ajol. Five kilometers from here you will find our converted farmhouse on six acres of land, surrounded by nature, The caravan is on the meadow at the edge of the forest, about 50 meters from the farm . It is a small type of caravan with a fixed double bed (1.40 m) and a sitting area (this can possibly serve as an extra bed). Around the caravan is built a wooden cabin with covered veranda. On the veranda is cooking facilities, but in the house is also separate cooking facilities and a private bathroom. Around the caravan enough private land where an extra tent can be placed if you want to come with more than 2 or 3 people. Garden furniture including sun loungers and parasol available.
Nature and surroundings
The place is very suitable as a base for hiking and cycling. Col de Mont de Fourche and Col des Croix are the closest, a little further away you will find the other Ballons and Cols d'Alsace . For the more 'quiet' cyclists there are several Voies Vertes, which are landscaped cycle paths on flat stretches, for example along the Mosel. The house is located at the end of a dead end road that leads from our property into a hiking trail through the woods. Hiking opportunities abound, maps available! On Sundays in summer there are often brocante and flea markets in the villages in the area. Remiremont and Plombières-les Bains are the nearest towns. There are several stores and restaurants in Le Val d'Ajol.
