This nature house is completely back to basics! It is organically embedded against an antique terrace wall. This makes it wonderfully cool in the summer! It is built of natural and recycled materials. At 12 m2 you have everything compactly at hand. Spring water from the tap, a tiny stove, an ecological dry toilet and a basic semi-outdoor shower, where the water is heated by the sun. Energy comes from solar panels. This cottage was built entirely by women. Outside around it is plenty of nature where you can sit or bird watch.
Nature and surroundings
Nature house is located on the edge of Natural Park Sierra de Guara and near the Pyrenees, Ordesa and Monte Perdido. There are endless hiking possibilities and lots of variety in nature. From views of the Pyrenees to the foot of the high mountains, from the deep gorges of the Sierra de Guara to the lovely meadows in the immediate vicinity. There are beautiful water spots, you can find fossils and there are many birds, such as the Hoopoe and the Golden Oriole, the Bee-Eater and raptors and vultures, and with a little luck the rare Bone-breaker. Adventurers can go mountain biking, canyoning, canoeing and rafting in the area. But of course you can also just unwind in this beautiful place and enjoy nature, the wild thyme and rosemary. And, of course, the impressive starry sky.
