Located in the hamlet of Martassina, in the municipality of Ala di Stura, on a cliff from which there is a unique view of the valley, within walking distance of bar and store. Suitable for one/two couples, or a family of up to 4 people. Maximum tranquility..The lodge is spread over three floors : entrance located on the central floor where you will find the kitchen and dining room; On the ground floor bedroom, bathroom, large panoramic terrace , in the attic , there is a living room that can be converted into a bedroom with 2 places. Heating is provided by a hydro pellet stove while hot water is produced by a solar panel ! HOT TUB and E-BIKE service on reservation . For stays of at least 5 nights one (1) use is included in the price. Fabulous E-bikes are available to guests. 1 Free Use for stays at least 5 nights.
Nature and surroundings
The hamlet Martassina is located 2 km from the village of Ala di Stura, where in addition to several restaurants and stores, , a fishing reserve, a path between sundials, and, in winter, ice skating and a small, quiet winter sports area. We were given a very warm welcome by the owners. They gave us all kinds of tips on beautiful mountain hikes and nice restaurants in the area. They even shared vegetables from their own garden with us. The owners also invited us to have a cup of coffee at the café in the village. Very hospitable. The house offers plenty of privacy. For people taller than 1.85; the bed is a bit on the short side, and the house lacks comfortable chairs. The panoramic terrace is on the ground floor, adjacent to the bedroom. The view is fantastic!
