Environment a 10 road to it a 1 It is a beautiful typical Italian house. The furnishing was too much, there was decoration everywhere and some practical things like dishes and spoons were missing. The closets that were there were almost completely filled with bedding etc. There was no place to put your clothes. Also in the kitchen there was so much stuff so there was no place to put your groceries away except for a large fridge/freezer. The chairs and beds were either very hard or very soft. In the kitchen there is a hard wooden bench the chairs next to it are not comfortable either. In the living room the chairs are so soft that they collapse. The jacuzzi was wonderful so the lack of a pool was not a problem. On arrival there were cobwebs everywhere and the washing machine was covered with dust and grit. So I would like to advise Patricia to clean the house better and think a bit more about practical matters such as storage space for guests. Her daughter Barbara was incredibly helpful in answering all kinds of questions and solving problems. She definitely deserves a big 10.

De inrichting was too much, overal stond wel iets van decoratie en sommige praktische dingen zoals schaaltjes en lepeltjes ontbraken. De kasten die er stonden waren zo goed als helemaal gevuld met beddengoed etc. Waardoor er geen plek was om je kleding kwijt te kunnen. Ook in de keuken stonden zoveel spulletjes waardoor er geen plek was om je boodschappen weg te zetten behalve een grote koel/vriescombinatie. De stoelen en bedden waren of heel hard of heel zacht. In de keuken staat een harde houten bank de stoelen die erbij staan zitten ook niet comfortabel. In de woonkamer zijn de stoelen juist weer zo zacht dat ze inzakken. De jacuzzi was heerlijk waardoor het ontbreken van een zwembad geen enkel probleem was. Bij aankomst hingen er wel overal spinnenwebben en ook de wasmachine zat onder het stof en gruis. Dus ik zou Patricia willen adviseren om het huis beter schoon te maken en wat meer aan de praktische zaken te denken zoals opbergruimte voor de gasten. Haar dochter Barbara is ontzettend behulpzaam geweest met het beantwoorden van allerlei vragen en het oplossen van problemen. Zij verdient zeker een dikke 10.

The house was at the top with a beautiful view of the valley. Truly breathtakingly beautiful. What was a very big problem though was the road to it. This is only doable with a higher car with a lot of om. We were with a mini and a Hyundai IX20. Both car had a very big problem getting to the top. On the path up there were large boulders and small pebbles and it was very steep. Because of this, sometimes we had to lower the car back down to make another attempt to get to the top. Or people had to get out and walk up on foot.

Het huis lag bovenin met een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei. Echt adembenemend mooi. Wat wel een heel groot probleem was, was de weg er naar toe. Dit is alleen te doen met een hogere auto met veel om. Wij waren met een mini en een Hyundai IX20. Beide auto hadden een heel groot probleem om boven te komen. Op het pad naar boven lagen grote keien en kleine kiezeltjes en het was heel stijl. Hierdoor moesten we soms de auto weer terug laten zakken naar beneden om opnieuw een poging te wagen om naar boven te komen. Of mensen moesten uitstappen en te voet naar boven lopen.

Great little house in the countryside with large grounds outside, the terrain is quite challenging (inclines) in terms of cycling and hiking, but in principle offers good opportunities, in summer it is really warm and in the evening there are mosquitoes like everywhere in the south.

tolles Häuschen im Grünen mit großem Gelände außen herum, das Gelände ist recht anspruchsvoll (Steigungen) bzgl. Radfahren und Wandern biete aber prinzipiell gute Möglichkeiten, im Sommer ist es richtig warm und am Abend gibt es wie überall im Süden auch Mücken.

The house is situated in a great secluded location in the hilly landscape of eastern Tuscany, very close to Umbria. There is a lot of mixed forest around the house and only a few houses. The drive to the two nearest towns (to the east and west) with restaurants and shopping facilities takes 20-30 minutes.

Das Haus liegt in toller Alleinlage in der hügeligen Landschaft der Ost-Toskana, ganz nahe zu Umbrien. Um das Haus herum gibt es viel Mischwald und nur vereinzelt Häuser. Die Fahrt zu den beiden nächstgelegenen Städtchen (nach Osten und Westen) mit Restaurants und Einkaufmöglichkeiten dauert 20-30 min.
