Nature house in Balen

The location is really ideal.on the edge of a sandy plain with the cottage in the woods. Security with an open feeling. There was a lot of peace and quiet. Even the small planes that sometimes departed from the airport a little further away could not disturb that peace for us.We made beautiful walks. Enjoyed the various landscapes. Sometimes we felt as if we were far away on a journey. The sun was a nice bonus.

De ligging is echt ideaal.aan de rand van een zandvlakte met het huisje in het bos. Geborgenheid met een open gevoel. Er was heel veel rust en stilte. Zelfs de kleine vliegtuigjes die soms van het vliegveldje ietsje verderop vertrokken konden voor ons die rust niet verstoren.
We maakten prachtige wandelingen. Genoten van de diverse landschappen. We waanden ons soms ver op reis. De zon was een mooie meevaller.

One and all bliss. Slowing down, the actions of pumping water, warming up the cottage with the stove, peering through the window, sleeping in the silence, relaxing muscles after a long walk in the lovely bath, playing games, reading a book. Delightful, all of which succeed effortlessly because of the simplicity and coziness of the cottage. Just goes to show that modesty can give you so much.

Eén en al zaligheid. Het vertragen, de handelingen van water oppompen, huisje opwarmen met de kachel, turen door het raam, heerlijk slapen in de stilte, spieren ontspannen na een flinke wandeling in het heerlijke bad, spelletjes spelen, boekje lezen. Heerlijk.
Dit lukt allemaal moeiteloos door de eenvoud en de gezelligheid van het huisje.
Zo zie je maar dat bescheidenheid je zo veel kan geven.

We experienced the nature house as a place where you can completely relax. Waking up early in the morning by the fireplace, taking a beautiful nature walk in the afternoon, and enjoying the lovely hot tub in the evening - a place we recommend to everyone. We are a young couple and real nature lovers, but have never had a stay where you really go back to basics, like pumping water ourselves. This first experience was super. We will definitely book this cottage in the future.

Wij hebben het natuurhuisje ervaren als een plek waar je volledig tot rust komt. 's Ochtends vroeg lekker wakker worden bij de open haard, 's middags een prachtige natuurwandeling maken, en 's avonds genieten in de heerlijke hottub.
Een plek die wij iedereen aanraden. Wij zijn een jong stel en echte natuurliefhebbers, maar hebben nog nooit een verblijf gehad waar je echt terug gaat naar de basics, zoals zelf water oppompen. Deze eerste ervaring was super. Wij zullen dit huisje zeker nog in de toekomst boeken.

The route to the cottage alone is beautiful. You really have the feeling of leaving civilization, and ending up in a beautiful cottage that fits perfectly with the environment. You hear nothing but nature, and except for the few hikers you see no people around you. Nature is beautiful, and 100% suitable for wonderful walks.

De route naar het huisje alleen al is prachtig. Je hebt echt het gevoel dat je de bewoonde wereld verlaat, en terecht komt in een prachtig huisje dat perfect past bij de omgeving. Je hoort niks anders dan de natuur, en je ziet behalve de paar wandelaars geen mensen om je heen. De natuur is prachtig, en 100% geschikt om prachtige wandelingen te maken.

Very satisfied, though less according to than had hoped. But does not take away from the beautiful experience and walks I did.

Zeer tevreden, wel minder volgens dan dat gehoopt had. Maar neemt niet af op de mooie ervaring en wandelingen die ik heb gedaan.
