This property is a 300-year-old farmhouse and originally belonged to the Fattoria di Brolio. Right in the heart of the Chianti Classico and in the immediate vicinity of the famous Castello di Brolio. The property is located in a quiet and idyllic valley surrounded by cypresses and oak woods, behind the house there is a stream, the "Dudda", where you can also take a refreshing dip. This accommodation is a detached former hayloft of 72m² living space with private terrace and pergola, suitable for 2 persons max. with a child up to 14 years, (baby crib can be provided on request). On the first floor there is an open, well-equipped kitchen with dining area and wood-burning stove, as well as a large living room with a sofa bed (80 x 200cm). Halfway up behind the tower is a bedroom open to the living room with a double bed (180 x 190cm) and a bathroom with shower, WC and bidet below.
Nature and surroundings
The Capanna was furnished with hand-woven works from our own workshop. The workshop is located on the property and you can visit it at any time. The access road is 200 meters long, not asphalted but easily passable. Parking is available on the premises. Depending on the season, there are fresh vegetables from the garden. A perfect place to relax from the stress of everyday life and an ideal starting point for excursions to historic cities such as Siena, Florence, Arezzo, as well as medieval towns such as Montepulciano, Pienza and S.Gimignano. We have chickens, from which fresh eggs are available, geese, cats, a dog and 5 sheep whose wool I process from shearing to weaving. It is dyed with natural materials from our own dye garden.

Geweldig.
Great cottage. The cottage is secluded, where you can fully relax if you want to avoid the crowds. The owner has her own weaving mill on the land. There is also a swimming pool to cool off. From your terrace you can look out over the vineyards. There are also great restaurants nearby where you can eat.
