Hidden in the green, in the middle of an oasis of peace, lies this vacation home.This cozy house, perfect for 4 people, is the ideal place to relax from the hustle and bustle and recharge completely.Upon arrival, we are immediately enchanted by the environment : tall trees sway gently in the wind and an illuminated path leads us to the cozy house. As soon as we arrive, we immediately feel at home.The living room exudes coziness , The wood stove is ready to fill the room with crackling warmth and on the smart TV we can relax in the evening with a movie.Through the large windows we have a beautiful view of nature.The open kitchen is modern and fully equipped. From a full breakfast to a homemade meal after a day's adventure, here we have everything we need.Upstairs, the open bedroom awaits us. The soft beds and soothing interior make us immediately feel like plopping down and enjoying the silence.

After a well-deserved night's sleep, we put on our hiking boots and step right into nature. Vast forests, rippling meadows and winding paths invite us to explore. Hiking or biking, the choice is ours. Here time seems to stand still for a moment, along the way we can spot deer, herons, Canada geese and buzzards. Go back in time with the Erfgoedsite Merksplas/Wortel Kolonie, with protected monuments( world heritage) and the history of WW1 through the death wire route, The famous bike path the "Bels Lijntje"; which connects Tilburg to Turnhout and takes you through the enclave community of Baarle-hertog/ Nassau. Turnhout, Lier, Herentals and Hoogstraten are also worth visiting. Antwerp at 40min, Tilburg at 30 min. kaatsheuvel 40min.

Top, voor herhaling vatbaar
A nice neat cottage, the breakfast was delicious and Patricia is a super sweet woman. Unfortunately the water in the pond was very low which made it a bit difficult to catch fish in front of the cottage. I only caught 1 carp but there are plenty of fish swimming around on this water. All in all we had a wonderful midweek.
Een mooi nette huisje, het ontbijt was heerlijk en Patricia is een super lieve vrouw. Helaas stond het water in de vijver heel erg laag waardoor het voor het huisje wat lastig was om vis te vangen. Ik had dan ook maar 1 karper gevangen maar er zwemt genoeg vis rond op dit water. Al met al hebben wij een heerlijk midweekje gehad.
