Quiet cottage in a panoramic position in the upper part of the village of Valgiano, consisting of two living units each with its own entrance. The house with its two living units is rented as a whole, ideal for friends or families who want to spend their vacations together but also want their own privacy. Ground floor living unit (Lo Stecchino 1): two bedrooms with two beds each, living room with double sofa bed, two bathrooms and large kitchen; living room and kitchen have an exit to the garden. This housing unit can be seen a little further down this page. First floor housing unit (Lo Stecchino 2): two bedrooms with two beds each, living room with double sofa bed, a bathroom and a small toilet, kitchen. The house is located on a slope so the entrance is on the ground floor. The swimming pool is located in the olive grove about 50 meters from the cottage.
Nature and surroundings
This authentic house have been transformed into two cozy vacation apartments while all the old elements have been spared. The houses are located on the slopes of the mountains of the Pizzorne in good panoramic position, in a pleasant and quiet environment with fields, olive trees and vineyards. The woods invite you to relaxing walks. Within a few kilometers you can reach Lucca. On the farm you can buy wine, olive oil and honey. Within half an hour you can reach the coastline that stretches between Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, one of the most famous sights in Tuscany. You can enjoy shopping along the promenade. A must is a visit in the old town of Pietrasanta, which is home to the most famous contemporary artists and the medieval town of Camaiore with its famous 12th century church.
