Nature house in Vauban

Fairytale place and house! Does need some maintenance in and around the house.

I fell for the somewhat scary and abandoned atmosphere of the house. We were two and so only used two bedrooms. For both outside and inside there are 2 comfortable (reclining) chairs. In the house there is a very small living room, the bedrooms are large and the mattresses were nice. One of the bedrooms is downstairs and there is also a bedroom for which you have to walk through another one first. Bathroom and toilet are downstairs, upstairs there is no running water.
Due to the remote location and the limited occupancy of the house, it is inevitable that there are pests. We found a cockroach-like family of beetles in the house. Possibly the humidity or cleaning had something to do with this.We enjoyed the house, the peace and quiet and the garden.I would not go quickly with young children, or a large party of people who want everything spic and span, because you are not going to find that. I hope the landlords will renovate the house, it is nl a nice house, but could use a refurbishment.

Ik viel voor de beetje enge en verlaten sfeer van het huis. We waren met twee en gebruikten dus maar twee slaapkamers. Voor zowel buiten als binnen zijn er 2 comfortabele (lig)stoelen.
In het huis is een erg kleine woonkamer, de slaapkamers zijn groot en de matrassen waren prettig. Een van de slaapkamers is beneden en er is ook een slaapkamer waar voor je eerst door een andere moet lopen. Badkamer en toilet zijn beneden, boven is geen stromend water.
Door de afgelegen ligging en de beperkte mate waarin het huis bewoond wordt, is het onvermijdelijk dat er ongedierte is. We troffen een kakkerlakachtige familie torren aan in de woning. Mogelijk heeft de vochtigheid of het schoonmaken hier mee te maken.
Wij hebben genoten van het huis, de rust en de tuin.
Ik zou niet snel met jonge kinderen gaan, of een groot gezelschap van mensen die willen dat alles spic en span is, want dat ga je niet treffen. Ik hoop dat de verhuurders het huis gaan opknappen, het is nl een fijn huis, maar kan een opknapbeurtje gebruiken.
