"Away from everything yet close to everything"- the perfect description for our nature house. Imagine a small picturesque village in Liguria’s inland; Borgomaro. At this nature house you can enjoy a relaxing pace of life; the chimes of the Church’s bells set the pace. Now imagine walking along one of the narrow streets of the Village (in Ligurian they are called “caruggi”), heading out towards the countryside. Follow the little path along the gentle flowing creek, its waterfalls and natural pools, surrounded by old trees and olives grooves. Just a few steps along the path you will come across an old stone arch covered in ivy and a stone bridge where the creek flows pleasantly. A few more steps and, through the trees and leaves, you will set eyes on a small clearing, with terraced gardens. In the middle of the clearing there is an old stone watermill, now completely refurbished; Welcome to Secret Gardens! And if you are a mountain lover, in less than 30 minutes driving you can enjoy hiking in the beautiful landscape of Ligurian Alps.     Fantastic B&B. Run by Veronica and Roberto. What sweet, hospitable people! We were surprised by the fact that it was a B&B. You really don't see explained at Nature House. Was taken care of every day and the table outside was set. Apartment is under their house but we were not bothered by that. It is spacious, light and cool.Bed is fine, (a little springy but you get used to that).Beautiful bathroom. Modern, luxurious and fully equipped. Kitchen fine but what few pans for really extensive cooking yourself. Nice quiet area. Cottage is 5 minutes from the main street of Bergomora, where you park the car. Bagege is driven upstairs by Roberto and delivered to the apartment. Furthermore, fine WiFi. Really unfortunate that they are going to stop and embark on another adventure. Love Marianne and Peter

    Surroundings are really great to say the least. The coast is very touristy and mega busy. Especially in late July and August when most Italians have their vacations. The temperature is high and then everyone goes to the sea. We did not do that and mainly visited the hinterland. Breathtaking mountain landscapes with beautiful views in clear weather. Exciting car rides with something special after every turn. Nice villages, sometimes almost deserted then lively again. By the way, there are hardly any crowds on the way.

    Het huis is prachtig verbouwd , alles is nieuw. Het is keurig schoon. Er zouden iets meer keukenattributen mogen liggen. Veronika en Roberto doen hun uiterste best om het verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te laten zijn. Daar slagen ze voor 100 % in. Mijn vrouw was jarig tijdens ons verblijf en Veronika en Roberto wilden graag voor bloemen zorgen, ook al zit er geen bloemenzaak in de directe omgeving. Top!!!
