Light, air, space and privacy! That's what you will find in this nature house. This sunny and attractively decorated vacation home, is located in a rural area close to Leeuwarden (European Capital of Culture in 2018). The house can accommodate one to four people and is located in a small village surrounded by meadows. Fresh eggs from our own chickens are waiting for you! The house, a former sheep barn in the garden has been converted into a cozy, modern home with a mezzanine. The space has many windows and has French doors. On the ground floor is a spacious living room with fully equipped kitchen. Here you will find a double bed and the bathroom with shower and toilet. A steep staircase (less suitable for people with mobility problems and very small children) leads to the upper floor. Here is another bedroom with 2 generous single beds. Guests have access to the entire house and spacious garden with sun terraces.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is rural located in the picturesque village of Boksum. Boksum is located in the so-called Greidhoeke. A beautiful region in Friesland where there are many beautiful hiking and cycling trails. Boksum is also a favorable starting point for a visit to one of the Wadden Islands, a walking, - cycling or sailing trip through the Alde Feanen nature reserve. A visit to one or more of the Elfsteden is also worthwhile.
