A lovely house where the atmosphere of the 1920s welcomes you with its many wood paneling, monumental staircase and blissful living room with large fireplace and spectacular views. This monumental nature house from 1910 is located on a 240-acre estate. The nature house is an attractive house for larger parties with four double rooms, one triple room, 1 single room, sleeping exercises in the children's room and three bathrooms. The nostalgic living room has ample seating around the fireplace and beautiful views in the distance of the game field. Next to the living room is the cozy dining room with dining table for 18. Furthermore, you will find a well-equipped kitchen, billiard room, spacious hall and children's room on the ground floor.
Nature and surroundings
This estate is 240 hectares and consists of forests with ancient trees, many footpaths and vast heaths. An oasis of peace and quiet where you can encounter deer and boar. On the estate are its own tennis court and unique heathland golf course dating from 1923. The estate is located in the middle of the Leuvenumse Bossen of Ermelo. It is wonderful cycling here over the heathland, along the Hierdense Beek and the various sand drifts. Bicycles are for rent and can be delivered. Several routes are waiting for you. Along the way there are idyllic spots for coffee, a drink and a snack, such as at the brasserie of Kasteel Staverden or at restaurant De Zwarte Boer. If you want to know more about the animals and plants on the Veluwe, go on a trip with the ranger. The landlords are happy to arrange this for you. At dusk there is a good chance that you will see wildlife. During the rutting period, the impressive sound of belling deer can be heard (mid-September to early October).
