A lovely quiet weekend in the middle of the Frisian meadows. The cottage is beautifully situated: wide view, cows in front of the door and no over neighbors. With the beautiful weather we spent a lot of time sitting outside, cycling and exploring the surroundings. Workum and Sneek are easily reached, and the beach at Workum is highly recommended. Yet it felt like being far away from everything. Special plus: we were allowed into the barn to see the cows and calves up close. Our 12-year-old daughter thought that was the highlight of the weekend.
