This naturehouse is a Tiny house restored from a 18th century natural stone cottage and named Druid cottage from its locality name Glendree, meaning Glen of Druids/Kings A cozy hideaway described as "Rustic" but very comfortable or a "Home from Home" feel, as it is spasious, warm and quiet, with free internet and parking. Although we are a little off the beaten track for tourists, we are on the East Clare walking trail, small nearby lakes and within 1 hr of heritage sites, national park, coast and cities making it ideal for those who wish to holiday in a quiet space to relax and possibly combine it with some work The layout is open plan with a loft space bedroom; please take note of the rustic but securely fixed wooden ladder as seen in the photos. There is also a double sofa bed in main for those who wish to stay on one level
Nature and surroundings
Guests have access to the garden in front of cottage with edible herbs and outdoor seating to be enjoyed when weather allows. We also enjoy the availability to the nearby Organic farm where you can buy cheese, milk,eggs and vegetables in season which is just a small walk away. The cottage is situated on the edge of the East Clare hiking trails and also small nearby walks to be enjoyed on a quiet day Guests love this calm diverse artistic and farming neighborhood where you can converse with neighbours, explore the nearby villages and the historic town of Ennis, breath clean air and drink fresh spring water from our own Ppring well. Many artists and crafters live in the County Clare and are abundant in these scenic hills where their work is displayed and sold in the local markets
