Nature house in Contrada Canalisi

The natural cottage is in the open countryside, surrounded by a place that many call "a little paradise on earth." A farm that produces oil, lemons, carobs and almonds. The landlord is a "native" the last, fourth of his generation to manage the land and the old family home, genuine and discreet, a lover of his home and his land, and his wife more "citizen" of Florence host you whoever you are, sharing a passion for the countryside with its open spaces, breathtaking views and silences. Very few beds, three small apartments where you will have all the privacy and be independent, or you can use the common outdoor spaces (beam, panoramic terrace, kitchen, relaxation and dining room, the old oil mill), all seasoned with our authenticity and friendliness that make Canalisi, a truly unique place. You will leave reluctantly :)

The natural cottage is surrounded by hundreds of olive trees, most of them ultra-centuries old, then carob trees, almond trees and Mediterranean scrub in the farther reaches; much of this land can be said to be literally untouched. Behind the hill on which the house stands, a road leads to a small stream that you can easily cross and then continue for long walks in the surrounding countryside. In the hilly part you can see the Ionian and Sicilian Channel seas as far as Portopalo, which is only a few kilometers away. The beauty of this location is that we are close to the areas of greatest tourist interest, but at the same time in total peace as far as the surrounding countryside stretches.
