This spacious cottage is located behind the house and overlooks the valley. Only the farmer stops by—and we do too, sometimes—but other than that, it’s quiet there.... The nature house is oriented with its back to the sun, which keeps it nice and cool in the summer. It has its own terrace that opens onto the shared garden with the swimming pools, swings, pull-up bars, and basketball hoop. When you walk in through the French doors, you’ll enter the living room/kitchen, which has a dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer. Adjacent to that is the double bedroom downstairs, next to which is the bathroom with a washing machine. If you go up the stairs, you’ll reach the landing, which leads to the second bathroom and the two other double bedrooms. Downstairs, under the stairs, there’s a guest bed just in case....
Nature and surroundings
It’s very quiet here. You hear only the sounds of nature—mostly birds—occasionally interrupted by a tractor in the distance. You can’t hear the cows in the pasture; they’re just grazing. The nights are pitch-black, unless the moon is shining. From the gîte, you can walk freely down to the Bulvin. Once you cross it, you can go straight up or turn left: in either case, you’ll enter the forest for a brisk hike. This route takes at least five quarters of an hour and can easily be extended until you can’t go any further. Maps are available. You can also go the other way, toward the village. There, the shortest loop takes three-quarters of an hour and can also be extended indefinitely. This area is called the Sud-Morvan: less steep than the Morvan and more open thanks to the meadows, creating a varied landscape. The Loire is a short distance away—a rain-fed river, so it’s shallow in the summer and perfect for recreation. Mountain biking is possible everywhere here, and cycling is especially enjoyable along the Loire and the Canal de Nivernais (180 km).

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €150.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
