Instantly fell in love two years ago in winter when the landlords arrived here at the chapel in nubécourt. It had everything, but no amenities. Here they wanted to realize the dream of living and living differently. Purify their own water, dry toilet and so on. This they would like to share with others, to show that simple and self-sufficient can be incredibly rich! In the middle of nature on a beautiful river where the nights are still dark (the stars are easy to see) the badger sett is on the hill, the kingfishers build their nests and the deer get their water from the river, this place gives peace and reflection. In summer swim in the river.So do you get warmed up by their story and have always wanted to have this experience. Then they would like to invite you to their place to experience a vacation that hopefully can be an inspiration. There are also two Finnish kota's on their 'estate' also it is possible to use a tent or caravan (small fee). They are there should you have any questions during your stay. They are located just outside the town of Nubécourt, a quiet little village. Nearby is the great city of Verdun, city of peace, that area is known for its battles of the first and second world wars. There is much to see of that. Bar-le-duc another city nearby, and there are natural areas around our place. A few lakes where thousands of cranes gather. This place is ideal for people who love nature walks and bird watching. But the experience is that there is so much beauty within walking distance to see at the place that they don't leave much. All this beauty can be experienced five hours from central Holland!
