Welcome to this delightful authentic farmhouse in a beautiful region not yet discovered by tourists! For those who love purity, views and back to nature. Here you make campfire and enjoy the birds and freedom. You have this unique house with large garden to yourself, so all privacy. There are cozy sitting areas and a lounge sofa, perfect for retreating with a book. And here children can still be children: exploring, shouting, running, without anyone being bothered. There is a trampoline, a ping pong table and from July 1 to September there is a large swimming pool. There is a cozy living room, there are 8 bedrooms, 4 of which are newly built in the authentic hay barn attached to the main house. There are 2 toilets, a spacious bathroom and a shower room on the patio. There is an open kitchen with a cooking island where you can have a drink. In short, La Mare is a wonderful authentic place where everyone can enjoy the French good life!
Nature and surroundings
The farm is located in a small hamlet and the surroundings consist of wide hills, rivers and forests. There are many nice swimming spots nearby. In this area you can also spend hours walking and cycling through the beautiful rolling hills without meeting a car. You cycle along beautiful meandering rivers and through beautiful valleys. The surrounding forests are also ideal for mountain biking. There are 8 bicycles available. The farm is located in the middle of the WW I line and within a few hundred meters you can still find authentic bunkers and trenches. Nearby are small rivers where you can swim or canoe. You can also take a nice day trip to Reims and the Champagne region. Windows open, music on, and the picnic basket in the back! You drive over rolling hills, across endless vineyards. With us, no fuss but an authentic place where time stands still for a moment. Where you can catch your breath and have a wonderful time with your partner, friends or family.
