This nature cottage is a delightful residential farmhouse from 1880, fully equipped. In winter, relax on the huge sofa or armchair in front of the fireplace with a good book or all together in the television room watching a nice movie after a walk through the fantastic green, river-rich environment. In summer, all together in the pool and eating outside on one of the many terraces and exploring the area by bike and perhaps discovering the green oasis and water sports area the Golden Ham. With the family, the whole family or the group of friends. Every company will find here what they are looking for, peace, cosiness and warmth. The enormous kitchen invites you to enjoy cooking and dining together. It is fully equipped with several ovens, seven gas burners, several refrigerators and a freezer. Alphen is located on the edge of Gelderland/North Brabant. From the house you look out over the river Maas and North Brabant. The environment is green and quiet. There are beautiful hiking and biking trails along the Maas where you cross different nature reserves. One stretch you drive through the Golden Ham, a wetland with plenty of water sports opportunities, then you drive through archaeological excavations to then be stared at by a group of curious Gallaways (cattle). Everywhere the views are phenomenal. In the summer you will also find a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables from the region on just about every corner, as this is where the fruit growing of the Netherlands takes place. You will also find several fruit trees in our own garden.
