The two of us spent two weeks in the house of Karen and Walther, which we enjoyed very much. The house is a real French affair, especially the garden, which is in terraces around the house. The kitchen equipment is nicely complete. No lack of pans, dishes, knives, shelves and everything else that is pleasant for tinkering in the kitchen. But otherwise the house is also very pleasant. We had plenty of space. Also nice are the bookcases where you can find everything. Feel free to leave your own books at home, and then the environment. In a word, Beautiful! A place in the middle of the mountains. Walking shoes on and you walk between the rocks to new horizons. An hour's drive and you dive into the Mediterranean. Beautiful beach, nice terraces, vacation! Karen and Walther are friendly, helpful landlords and above all nice people. Highly recommended!

Met z’n tweeën hebben we twee weken in het huis van Karen en Walther gebivakeerd.
Daar hebben we veel plezier aan beleefd. Het huis is een echt Franse bedoening, zeker ook de tuin, die in terrassen rond het huis ligt. Verschillende hoekjes dus, waar je van zon of juist schaduw kunt genieten.
De keukenuitrusting is mooi compleet. Geen gebrek aan pannen, schalen, messen, planken en alles wat voor lekker klungelen in de keuken prettig is. Maar ook verder is het huis heel plezierig. Wij hadden in elk geval ruimte te over. Fijn ook zijn de boekenkasten waarin van alles te vinden is. Laat je eigen boeken gerust thuis.
En dan de omgeving. In een woord, Prachtig! Een plek midden tussen de bergen. Wandelschoenen aan en je loopt tussen de rotspartijen nieuwe verten tegemoet. Een uurtje rijden en je duikt de Middellandse Zee in. Mooi strand, leuke terrasjes, vakantie!
Karen en Walther zijn vriendelijke, toeschietelijke verhuurders en vooral leuke mensen.
Een aanrader dus!

Everything you would expect from a fun and beautiful nature house in beautiful surroundings

Really nice vacation cottage, we had booked for 2 weeks with our 2 children and labrador, Christmas and New Year celebrated, the cottage has everything you need and a cozy fireplace. The area is really beautiful in the middle of the mountains for beautiful walks but also within driving distance to natural hot springs, horseback riding in the mountains also a drive to Barcelona cozy tapas food was fantastic.
Even the 2 weeks we have spent are still too short to see and do everything, perhaps we will come back again to explore the area further. The contact with the landlord / owner is very good and friendly both in person upon receipt and later by phone or whatsapp, thank you Karen and Walther and maybe see you soon Willem and Linda

Hartstikke leuk vakantie huisje, we hadden voor 2 weken geboekt met onze 2 kinderen en labrador,kerst en oud en nieuw gevierd, het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en een gezellige open haard.
De omgeving is werkelijk prachtig midden tussen de bergen voor mooie wandelingen maar ook op rij afstand naar natuurlijke warmwater bronnen, paardrijden in de bergen ook een ritje naar Barcelona gezellig tapas eten was fantastisch.
Zelfs de 2 weken die we hebben doorgebracht zijn nog te kort om alles te zien en te doen, wellicht dat we nog een keer terug komen om het gebied verder te ontdekken.
Het contact met de verhuurder/eigenaar is zeer goed en vriendelijk zowel persoonlijk bij ontvangst als later telefonisch of via whatsapp,

The cottage is cozy and fully equipped. With the large wood stove it is also good to stay in the cottage in winter.

Het huisje is knus en van alles voorzien. Met de grote houtkachel is het ook in de winter goed toeven in het huisje.

In a secluded valley with beautiful views, we enjoyed the silence of Baillestavy.

In een besloten dal met prachtig uitzicht hebben we genoten van de stilte in Baillestavy.
