Nature house in Arnay-sous-Vitteaux

This village house is located in the village of Arnay-sous-Vitteaux (over 100 inhabitants). The name of the house refers to the function it had in earlier times: here the bread for the whole village was brought by a baker from a larger village further away. It is located on 2000 m² of private land and has a living area of 65 m². In addition to a living room/kitchen, it has two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom. This bathroom can be accessed from the bedroom with the double bed. Furthermore, at the back there is a large garden (1500 m²) and a large and extremely sunny terrace on two levels (25 m² + 15 m²), with a wide view of the adjacent meadows, an orchard and the hills in the background.

Besides the many hiking possibilities (a detailed hiking map is in every house), it is also very well possible to go out with a (sportive) bike. The area is hilly, but cycling is generally very well done. The miles of cycle paths along the nearby Canal de Bourgogne are also very worthwhile and offer the possibility of "flat" cycling. There are also special cycling routes for mountain bikers. There are also possibilities for swimming nearby; the reservoir at Grosbois, the "Lac de Pont" near Semur-en- Auxois, the swimming pool in Vitteaux, the swimming lake in Venarey-Les-Laumes or the swimming pool in "Parc de l´Auxois" near Arnay-sous-Vitteaux.
