Detached, cozy non-smoking nature house along a cul-de-sac in the woods with beautiful views and bright rooms. Quiet location, ideal for walks. In the large, unfenced garden of about 2,500 m² facing south there is a round pool of about five meters in diameter. On the large south-facing terrace you have an electric awning. Also on the side of the house there is a covered terrace with a large dining table, a barbecue and a refrigerator. Garden furniture and deck chairs are in the barn. In the open living room with kitchen and dining table there is a wood stove and for the winter there is central heating in the living room/kitchen and one of the bathrooms. There are three bedrooms, two with direct access to the terrace and two bathrooms, each with shower and toilet. The landlords live 1.4 kilometers away on the next hill.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is in the heart of the Dordogne in the Périgord Pourpre, which is known for its vast forests, delicious food (for example, truffles, foie gras or magret de canard) and wine. In the nearest village of Sainte-Alvère 3.5 kilometers away, there are two bakeries, a small supermarket, tourist information, garage, bar tabac, two restaurants, a hairdresser and other small stores. In a radius of 25 kilometers there are many nice villages and the city of Bergerac. In summer there is a food market or antique market almost every day. For children there are many activities in the area. For example, you can visit caves or canoe on the Dordogne or Vézère. Lac de Pombonne with supervised beach, large playground and restaurant is also recommended. The small Bergerac airport is 30 kilometers away (around 25 minutes drive) with almost daily flights from Rotterdam and Charleroi. Transportation from/to the airport can be arranged if necessary.
