This nature house is situated in a secluded, wonderfully peaceful setting, surrounded by large trees and offering views of a protected landscape. The house has everything a large family or group (such as for a family reunion) could need. There is a master bedroom with a double bed (adjustable Auping), a bedroom with a double box bed, and four additional bedrooms with bunk beds. Suitable for up to 6 adults and 4 children; the house is ideal for, say, 2 families! All rooms have their own sink. There’s also a spacious, fully equipped kitchen. The living area has underfloor heating, and each room has its own radiator. Both the living room and the dining room feature a fireplace. The dining room is very spacious; there’s plenty of room for the ping-pong table right next to the dining table! There’s also a pool table. The nature house has two simple showers and two toilets. There’s plenty to do outside: relax on the extra-large lounge sofa, swing in the big sycamore tree, or build a giant hammock.
Nature and surroundings
You can set out on wonderful hiking and biking trips right from the nature house. After 100 meters, the street turns into a sandy path that leads you to the stream. If the water level is high enough, you can go canoeing there (a 3-person canoe is available). Nature reserves (Noorderbroek and Landgoed Slangenburg) are nearby. Within walking distance (in Westendorp) you’ll find a pancake house, a café (with food), and a snack bar. Doetinchem, Varsseveld, Ulft, Zelhem, and Winterswijk are larger towns nearby with plenty of shops and a wide range of sports and cultural activities.

Spacious house, close to the village. For adults village within walking distance, we took the car to Westendorp with small children. We had a great time in and around the house. The kids loved the trampoline and also the thick ropes to hang from. Put shuffleboard on the large garden table and that was also a time entertainment. If we want to go back east with the family again, we would love to go to this address again. Very friendly owners. Everything was nicely prepared for us.
Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. Alles stond keurig klaar voor ons.
Rural setting with lots of space around it
