Thanks to the 80-meter driveway, this country house is hidden from view from the dirt road. In the huge garden (some 25 tennis courts) there are sunny and shady places to play, exercise or lounge, with wifi coverage everywhere. There is a swing and a slide. Three mini sheep graze in the farthest part of the garden. From the large living room you have a beautiful view of the garden and the pond with ornamental fish. During the day there are numerous birds (sometimes a kingfisher) and squirrels, at night bats and badgers. There are several French doors and terraces, one of which is covered. There is a wood stove inside and a fireplace outside. One room is enclosed, which is where my private things are when I rent out my house when I am traveling myself. One neighbor also uses the driveway. She will respect your privacy. I kindly ask you to respect hers as well. Children may feed the sheep and fish.
Nature and surroundings
Country cottage Onder de Linden is located among the fields and forests of the Veluwe, on the outskirts of the village of Epe. It is the ideal place for anyone who loves hiking, cycling horseback riding and tranquility. The immediate surroundings are beautiful. It is 10 minutes walk to the village center of Epe with cozy stores, restaurants and terraces. Pancake House the Ox Stable is 1 hour walk through the woods. The Eperheide is a beautiful, vast area with a sheepfold in the middle. Unique to this area are the springs, forest streams, once created by humans. A little further away are the estates of Tongeren and Gortel, where you can also enjoy hiking or biking through forests and heathlands. Attractions nearby: Sauna de Veluwse Bron, Paleis Het Loo, Amusement Park Julianatoren, Trout farm Smallert, the Ezeltjesboerderij and Apenheul. You can discover the rich history of the Veluwe by yourself or visit the old city center of Zwolle or Deventer and take a ride along the IJssel River.
