Nature house in Vierhuizen

This accommodation is not rented to groups of young people, students and sports clubs. Music outside is not allowed and after 22:00 it must be quiet outside. The cozy and spacious group accommodation is located on a nature campsite and has 10 bedrooms and can accommodate 34 people, with plenty of privacy possible due to the different rooms. Families and groups of friends can have a great time here. The inspiring, green surroundings ensure that work groups also find a peaceful base. The ground floor and part of the sanitary facilities are adapted for wheelchair users. The kitchen has a professional cooking and rinsing area with a catering dishwasher. The accommodation has two terraces. Children can enjoy themselves in the spacious playground. Arrival from 4 p.m. and departure until 11 a.m., except Sunday, when the latest departure time is 5 p.m.

You will find the nature house on the edge of the National Park Lauwersmeer, which offers many opportunities to enjoy nature. Excursions with the forest ranger are organized from the activity center of the Forestry Commission. In June, part of the park turns purple with flowering orchids. If you walk along the orcid trail, you can see everything up close. It is also a unique park for birdwatchers. With a little luck you will see the bald eagle, which has been breeding here for several years. But not only the park is worth seeing. There are several special (botanical) gardens and nurseries to visit. Furthermore, a day trip to Schiermonnikoog is recommended. The ferry takes you to the island in 45 minutes (and you might see seals along the way!). Then enjoy cycling or walking and getting a breath of fresh air on the beach. In the surrounding villages there are many museums and galleries. At 2.5 kilometers you will find the fishing village of Zoutkamp, with several restaurants and pubs.
