This Gite is a cozy gite for 2 persons This gite has a living room with a TV with all Dutch channels, wifi, an open kitchen and air conditioning. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven, 4 burner electric hob, fridge freezer, coffee maker and kettle. There is 1 bedroom with a double bed 180 wide and a bathroom equipped with a spacious shower, sink, toilet and washing machine. For our guests, pillows, comforters, towels and bed linen are included in the rent. You need to bring your own bath towel for the pool and spa. Outside The gite has two terraces, one of which is covered. Here you have a wide view and you can enjoy a drink in privacy with a nice piece of French cheese. At the gite there is also a jacuzzi/spa waiting for you, so you can enjoy the sunset and the beautiful view from the spa. There is a beautiful swimming pool that you share with the other gites!
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the department of Lot-et-Garonne, at the outer limits of the Périgord (Dordogne). The charm of Douzains and the beauty of the hilly landscape, makes Douzains an ideal vacation spot for anyone who loves peace and quiet, nature and beautiful old towns. Its convenient geographical location makes it easy to visit the bastide towns in the area from Douzains: Monpazier, Villeréal, Castillonnès and Monflaquin, among others. But the beautiful castles of Biron, Bonaquil and Duras are also a stone's throw away. Of course, you can also take a larger tour to medieval towns, such as Sarlat and Agen, and end it through the wine regions of Bergerac or Cahors. From May through September, the region hosts a variety of markets, celebrations and festivals. For example, every Tuesday evening there is a "food market" in Eymet! Every Sunday there is a nice market in Issigeac.
