This 200-year-old finca in the province of Valencia near Alicante is situated on a plateau surrounded by mountains with a view of the sea. The farm has two separate buildings and an inner courtyard. The house consists of a large, elongated room with a living and separable sleeping area downstairs and two separate galleries (one bedroom upstairs) as well as a large kitchen, a bathroom and a 25 sqm private roof terrace, totaling around 125 sqm. Old Spanish furniture and carpets made from Esparto grass create an elegant, authentic ambience, while a saltwater infinity pool provides cooling and a spectacular view. The energy comes from solar cells and wind turbines. The stove is gas-powered. There is: Dishwasher, washing machine, gas ovens, fireplace, library, games, bicycles, internet via cell phone is available. The buildings are whitewashed with natural lime, wood is treated with organic oils. This house is available under the number 36079 for 4-5 persons.
Nature and surroundings
The majority of the 65-hectare estate is wilderness. You can set off on hikes directly from the house. Breezes from the sea are refreshing in summer, you can relax under the tall pine trees by the pool and gaze out into the distance from the terrace. A pair of eagle owls nest in the rocks, the little owl lives in the olive grove in the valley, and bee-eaters migrate through the gorge in the evening; larks, stonechat, Mediterranean wheatears and other rare bird species nest here. Sometimes eagles soar overhead. Here you can sleep soundly without the noise of civilization. The finca produces its own olive oil, almonds and herbal teas. The fields are cultivated according to ecological criteria (certified). We leave large, dead trees standing for the green woodpecker and bats. Rosemary and thyme grow around the house. Guided botanical walks can be booked. Mountain bikes are available. The sandy beach is 30 minutes away by car.
