This vacation bungalow is located behind the high dunes of Groot-Valkenisse, outside the village of Zoutelande on Walcheren. The house has a lot of open space in the living area (stove and piano available). There is a large garden with lawn, terraces and borders. For the youngest there is a sandbox, crib, baby bath, toys, bicycle seats and high chairs. There are two larger (parents') bedrooms and two smaller (children's) bedrooms, one with bunk beds. The house has a driveway with parking for several cars. Included in the rent is the use of four bicycles. In the summer months there is a beach house for guests. The house is equipped with an alarm system. The hosts would appreciate it if you contact them before booking so they can coordinate with you to make sure the house is completely to your liking and suitable for your party.
Nature and surroundings
Next to the house is a forest, through which you reach the dunes in less than 500 meters. The horse trail leads close to the house through the forest. Pheasants regularly enter the garden from the forest. Located two kilometers from the center of Zoutelande, the nature house offers peace and privacy. The dunes are renowned, the highest on the island, making paragliding a spectacular activity to see (and do for some!) in good weather conditions. The dunes with their natural areas are fantastic for hiking or mountain biking. The historic town of Veere with the Veerse Meer, where water sports are one of the possibilities, is 16 kilometers away. Vlissingen and Middelburg are eight kilometers away. The beach cottage is located exactly between two dune crossings, on the quietest beach of the sunniest south beach of the Netherlands, as the Zeelanders praise their beach (not for nothing ...). On the beach, besides walking and sunbathing, you can catch shrimps and build endless sandcastles. There are two campsites nearby where there are additional playgrounds, dining facilities and a small supermarket.
