Nature house in Le Compas

Given our age, getting out of the garden chair was sometimes a challenge.

Gezien onze leeftijd was het soms een uitdaging om uit de tuinstoel te geraken.

Environment was surprising, our 1st introduction to La Creuse. Rest and space optimal because we had all the open space at our disposal with the result that during the day we could choose to sit in full sun or romantically sheltered under a large tree. We explored the area on foot and fully enjoyed the beautiful horses in the area.

Omgeving was verrassend, onze 1ste kennismaking met La Creuse. Rust en ruimte optimaal omdat we alle open ruimte ter beschikking kregen met als gevolg dat we tijdens de dag konden kiezen om in de volle zon te zitten of romantisch beschut onder een grote boom. De omgeving hebben we te voet verkend en volop genoten van de mooie paarden in de omgeving.

Plenty of space! Large garden and higher garden with platform.... Lots of birds to spot, especially birds of prey: don't forget binoculars! Beautiful undulating walks nearby; hardly any traffic on the smaller roads. Small house carefully furnished, large clean shower with always nice hot water. Complete silence except birds and wind in the trees....

Ruimte genoeg! Grote tuin en hoger gelegen tuin met platform... Heel veel vogels te spotten, zeker roofvogels: verrekijker niet vergeten! Prachtige golvende wandelingen in de buurt; op de kleinere wegen nauwelijks verkeer. Klein huisje zorgvuldig ingericht, grote propere douche met altijd lekker heet water. Complete stilte, behalve vogeltjes en wind in de bomen...

Because I was only on vacation with my dog I did miss the Internet: my hotspot did go hard. But when you come for overall rest: fantastic of course.

Omdat ik alleen met mijn hond op vakantie was miste ik het internet wel: mijn hotspot ging wel hard. Maar wanneer je voor algehele rust komt: fantastisch natuurlijk.

What a beautiful cottage located in Le Compas. I and my dog received a warm welcome. The cottage is cozy, a small kitchen with mini-oven, cloths etc, a comfortable bed and cozy dining area. 'Outside' for the bathroom and toilet is a big word: it is exactly 2 steps to a comfortable bathing area. There is hardly any traffic nearby so you only hear birds and dogs. While sitting on the terrace, a hummingbird butterfly flies on the (by Marjan and Manfred put down) vase with flowers. In short: good to stay here.

Wat een prachtig huisje gelegen in Le Compas. Ik en mijn hond kregen een hartelijke ontvangst. Het huisje is gezellig ingericht, een kleine keuken met mini-oventje, doeken etc, een comfortabel bed en gezellige eethoek. 'Buitenom' voor de badkamer en toilet is een groot woord: het is precies 2 stappen naar een comfortabele badruimte.
Er is nauwelijks verkeer in de buurt dus je hoort alleen vogeltjes en honden. Terwijl je op het terras zit, vliegt er een kolibri-vlinder op de (door Marjan en Manfred neergezette) vaas met bloemen.
Kortom: goed toeven hier.
