This nature house is a room in a former gamekeeper's house. The Hunting Room, which the landowner reserved for himself when he built the house, owes its atmosphere, among other things, to a century-old farm fireplace with wood stove. There is a private entrance with access to the bathroom and hunting room. The kitchen is equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. Of course, there are pans and crockery. From the private terrace there is a view over the meadow with beautiful sunsets. Sleeping: twin jumeaux (2 x 90 centimeters wide), as desired against each other or apart. The Hunting Room can also accommodate a crib for a baby or toddler. (Crib available). The house is heated by a heat pump, but the wood stove may also be fired. Dogs are welcome in this room provided they stay on the ground and leashed outside in connection with our free-roaming chickens.
Nature and surroundings
On the edge of nature reserve Het Grote Veld, near the Pieterpad, we offer you an attractive nature house, in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Achterhoek, three kilometers from the village of Vorden. In the garden and the adjacent forest you can see numerous birds and wildlife. A little further on is biodynamic farm 'De Vijfsprong' with a farm store. From the garden you can walk or cycle straight up the sandy paths and into the forest.
