In the middle of the old glass blowing area with lots of tangible history and South Swedish attractions, such as Astrid Lindgrens Värld in Vimmerby, the IKEA Museum in Älmhult and seven kilometers away the longest zipline in Northern Europe. At 1,000 car kilometers or an hour's flight from Amsterdam, ideal for refueling or as a starting point for the Round North Cape - and everything in between. Forests, lakes and clean air abound. Nature in Småland is beautiful. Not spectacular, not dazzling, but simply beautiful. Forests and lakes of all shapes and sizes, a paradise for birdwatchers, fishermen and cyclists. Like everywhere else in Sweden, the law of the jungle applies here: you can go anywhere in nature as long as you leave things the way you found them.
