In the far north of Friesland, you’ll find this charming nature house in the style of a Swedish stuga. The stuga/log cabin is equipped with two single beds—linens are included—and a dining area with coffee and tea-making facilities, and features private access. It also features an eco-toilet and a private shower or standard toilet in the outbuilding. You’ll also have a covered private terrace with a view of the meadows. The stuga/log cabin is located at the back of the property and overlooks the meadows. There is also a shared outdoor kitchen with a microwave, oven, stove, and kitchen utensils. Alternatively, you can make a reservation for dinner at our Countrygarden restaurant, which features a terrace. Please make your reservation by 4:00 p.m. You can use the 10-by-4-meter heated pool free of charge, as well as enjoy free Internet access and parking. For an additional fee, you can also use the sauna and the electric charging station. Bicycles are also available for rent.
Nature and surroundings
The grounds of the nature house—stuga/log cabin—are lined with trees and offer panoramic views of the Frisian meadows. Mudflat walking is a favorite activity among our guests, and so is cycling along the quiet country roads and dikes. Birdwatchers will also find plenty to enjoy. Furthermore, the stuga/log cabin is close to Lauwersmeer National Park and the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. Dokkum is also worth a visit. Ameland and Schiermonnikoog are easily accessible from here. A day trip to Leeuwarden or Groningen is also an option. An ideal location to explore Friesland and the surrounding area!

Het huisje is klein, maar er is wel een tarrasje, toilet en douche. Het ontbijt is prima geregeld en de ontbijtruimte is leuk gedecoreerd. De host is een vriendelijke man.
Heet dicht bij Lauwersoog, wat fijn is als je wilt wadlopen. Mooi uitzicht over de wijlanden.

Het natuurhuisje gaf mijn een gevoel van luxe kamperen. Buiten douchen, op een compostwc je behoeften doen, maar wel horren voor de ramen en een föhn voor je haar.
Friesland is een erg mooie provincie. Rondom Ee zijn vele dijken, sluisen en wateren te vinden. Je komt er heerlijk tot rust, wandelend, fietsend, met de auto of de boot.
