It was a fantastic vacation! A beautiful setting full of peace and space. The cottage is fully equipped, and the owners are incredibly sweet and kind. There are lovely towns nearby, and there’s a nice lake for swimming close by. I highly recommend it if you want to truly unwind in a beautiful setting!

Het was een topvakantie! Een prachtige omgeving vol rust en ruimte. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en de eigenaren zijn super lief en aardig. Er zijn mooie steden in de buurt en er is een fijn zwemmeer dichtbij. Een absolute aanrader als je heerlijk tot rust wilt komen in een prachtige omgeving!

Delightful cottage, you will totally relax. There is plenty to do in the area, but you can also sit at the cottage.

Heerlijk huisje, je komt helemaal tot rust. Er is genoeg te doen in de omgeving, maar je kunt ook heerlijk bij het huisje zitten.

If you are looking for a quiet place with lots of space and privacy, this is ideal. I have not cycled myself, but that is perfectly possible here. The owners are very welcoming and also let you have your own vacation.

Als je een rustige plek zoekt met veel ruimte en privacy is dit ideaal. Ik heb zelf niet gefietst, maar dat kan hier prima. De eigenaren zijn erg gastvrij en laten je ook je eigen vakantie vieren.

It's quiet there. I think five cars or tractors a day pass by and that's about it. The cottage itself is well furnished, there are few things you have at home that are not here. Chairs and sofa sit well and bed is very decent and long enough for my 1.85 m. The kitchen is fully equipped, only the knives are blunt. The owners live next door, but you don't hear and hardly see them. They are always available for questions and when there is something there is immediate action. You can walk from the cottage and there are also maps available. Look especially for the plasticized maps, they are easy to take with you and are nice to walk. The walks are by French standards well marked, ie sometimes there is nothing indicated where you would like. If you want to visit a town count on at least 20 minutes in the car and for more interesting towns an hour. The cottage is a bit remote, but I had a great time.

Het is er stil. Er komen denk ik vijf auto’s of tractoren per dag langs en dat is het wel. Het huisje zelf is goed ingericht, er zijn weinig zaken die je zelf thuis hebt die hier niet zijn. Stoelen en bank zitten goed en bed is heel behoorlijk en lang genoeg voor mijn 1.85 m. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien, alleen zijn de messen bot.

De eigenaren wonen ernaast, maar die hoor je niet en zie je nauwelijks. Ze zijn wel altijd bereikbaar voor vragen en wanneer er iets is wordt er meteen actie ondernomen.

Je kunt vanuit het huisje wandelen en er zijn ook kaarten aanwezig. Kijk vooral naar de geplastificeerde kaartjes, die neem je makkelijk mee en zijn fijn om te lopen. De wandelingen zijn voor Franse begrippen goed aangegeven, dwz soms staat er niets aangegeven waar je het wel zou willen.
Als je een stadje wil bezoeken reken dan wel op minimaal 20 minuten in de auto en voor interessantere stadjes een uur. Het huisje ligt wat afgelegen.
Ik heb er een fijne tijd gehad.
