Nature house in Wapenveld

In the yard of a farm stands this nature house. A dream spot near the village and yet completely outside between the Veluwe and the IJssel. The cottage has recently been converted and renovated into a spacious and luxurious vacation home. It is characterized by light, space, silence and is comfortable. A place to catch your breath. There are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom equipped with toilet, sink and walk-in shower. The living room is the heart of the nature house. Light and spacious. The entire house has floor heating heated by the solartubes on the terrace roof and partly (if necessary) by the pellet stove that also serves as an "open" fireplace in winter. There is a sitting area and a spacious dining table for shared meals or extended reading of a newspaper. There is a large private terrace with dining table, garden furniture and parasols. The adjacent vegetable garden gives the opportunity to pick fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables, depending on the season. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a fresh-bean espresso machine, induction cooktop, dishwasher, double sink and refrigerator.

This special nature house is located between the river IJssel and the forests and moors of the Veluwe. Between Zwolle and Apeldoorn, a stone's throw from the village of Wapenveld. To the east are vast meadows and fields that run down to the river IJssel. On the west side of the village are extensive forests that invite walking and cycling. The nature house stands in the yard of a farm from 1862. The yard is located on an old sand ridge. The river IJssel used to provide pools of water called "Flessen". Hence the origin of the name: Flessenberg. In the surroundings you can of course walk and cycle to your heart's content. But you can also enjoy a day of wellness at the Veluwse Bron or play golf at the nearby Hattemse Golf & Countryclub golf course. And if you do feel like a bit of the hustle and bustle of the city, the Hanseatic cities of Hattem and Zwolle are very close by.
