Welcome to ins ancient but well-restored nature house in the Aveyron. Here you can really unwind. There are comfortable beds, a good wood stove, TV and wifi. The kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom with shower and toilet is outside. The windows have screens and you sleep under a large mosquito net. Morning sun in the front garden, afternoon sun in the backyard. On loungers you can enjoy a magnificent, unique view of the valley with the stream and the hills. In the evening, the Weber barbeque. Want to go out? Nature and surroundings
Marnhac is a hamlet with a monastery and Romanesque church. It lies on a sunny flank of a hill and overlooks a lovely green valley. In the distance you can see meadows and wooded slopes. In the valley with the water mill flows a small river whose source is near Marnhac. You will find roadside flowers, herbs, apples, plums, blackberries, walnuts and sweet chestnuts. You may spot deer or a fox or hear the calls of birds of prey and owls. At night you can see countless stars and even the Milky Way because there is hardly any light pollution here. In Marnhac, it is quiet. You can hear nature! Four kilometers away is Saint Geniez d'Olt on the Lot River with everything you need right away. Ideally located in the quiet and green department of Aveyron, on the Massif Central, between the Cévennes, the Lot and Tarn rivers and in regional natural park Grands Causses (UNESCO). Be sure to visit the Aubrac, a rugged and flowery mountain plateau. Hiking, mountain biking, fishing and swimming in a mountain lake. Caves, Crusader castles, the Caves of Roquefort, food with or without Michelin stars, farmers' markets and festivals. Nearby are 10 villages that are among the most beautiful in France.

Heuresement que la location etait très agréable, le coté ancien a été préservé avec du confort. La vue sur les près et forêt super. Dommage pour la proximité des voisins même si nous ne les avons pas entendu.
Environnement calme. Il y a des voisins à proximité mais aucun vis à vis et très calme. Le cadre est très agréable.

Het huisje was voor ons een heerlijk, dat helemaal aansloot bij waar wij van houden. Daarbij fijn zorgvuldig ingericht en lekker koel bij warm weer.
Het huisje ligt in een prachtige, rustige en rijk gevarieerde natuur: de Causses, het Plateau, de Gorges, rivier de Lot maar ook de directe omgeving van het huisje en het uitzicht voor en achter. Overweldigende beleving van flora en fauna. Ook volop cultuur en historie.
