In the heart of the Ardèche, on the outskirts of the 18th-century hamlet of Le Hameau de Burg, lies this beautiful and spacious nature house. From the terrace, you can enjoy a stunning view of the valley in complete tranquility. You’ll find both sun and shade under the large walnut tree. In Le Hameau de Burg, you can enjoy the delightful, laid-back atmosphere of southern France, nature, the clear starry sky, and the tranquility. The nature house is a charming natural-stone house with all the comforts of modern living. The thick walls and shutters keep the heat out during the summer. You can take a refreshing dip in the hamlet’s swimming pool to cool off. For cooler evenings in the spring and fall, the house has a fireplace with a glass door.

The nature house is located in the Eyrieux River valley, a beautiful and rugged valley with many different faces. Sometimes wide and green, sometimes narrow and rocky. Centrally located in the Ardèche within the boundaries of the Parc Naturel Régional des Monts d’Ardèche, there are excursions to be made in all directions, including the famous Ardèche Gorges, the impressive caves, and the charming little towns. The Ardèche Plateau, with its wild, rugged nature, vast hiking areas, and stunning views, is also definitely worth a visit. There are also many beautiful hikes and bike rides to enjoy right from the house. Bicycles can be rented in the village to, for example, take the beautiful ride along the (now-disused) old “Dolce Via” railway line. This railway line has recently been completely renovated for hikers and cyclists. Those who don’t enjoy steep climbs and descents can enjoy this winding path along the river, which stretches a total of 50 kilometers. Les Ollières-sur-Eyrieux, just five kilometers from the nature house, is a good spot for small errands. You’ll also find a terrace and a restaurant there. Privas, a typical French provincial town, is 14 kilometers away.
