Gite Gogh is suitable for 2 to 4 persons. A lovely place with comfort and cosiness in and around your gite. Enjoy the French sun from your private terrace or from your private jacuzzi/spa waiting for you. This detached gite is furnished with a spacious living room with a wood stove to enjoy during the colder days. In the living room you will find a TV + connection with all Dutch channels. There is a fully equipped kitchen with air conditioning. Two separate bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed of 160 wide and the other bedroom has a bed of 140 wide. There is also a washing machine. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and bathroom furniture. From the living room through double doors you reach a lovely sun terrace and under the old oak is a spacious canopy. Here you have a wide view and you can enjoy a drink in privacy with a nice piece of French cheese.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the department of Lot-et-Garonne, on the outer borders of the Périgord (Dordogne). The charm and beauty of the rolling, hilly landscape make Douzains an ideal vacation spot for those who love peace and quiet, nature and beautiful, old towns. Its convenient geographical location makes it easy to visit the bastide towns in the area from Douzains, including Monpazier, Villeréal, Castillonnès and Monflaquin. But the beautiful castles of Biron, Bonaquil and Duras are also a stone's throw away. Of course, you can also take a larger tour to medieval towns, such as Sarlat and Agen, and end it through the wine regions of Bergerac or Cahors. From May through September, the region hosts a variety of markets, celebrations and festivals. For example, during July and August there is a "food market" every Tuesday evening in Eymet, on Monday evenings in Villereal and on Friday evenings in Montaut. Every Sunday there is a nice market in Issigeac. For children there are several amusement parks in the area, including Walibi-parc in Agen and Survival-parc in La Capelle-Biron.
