This detached nature house is furnished with a spacious living room with also a wood stove to enjoy with a glass of wine during the colder days. In addition, a fully equipped kitchen and two separate bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed of 160 centimeters wide and the other bedroom has a bed of 140 centimeters wide. Of course there is a separate bathroom (shower) with toilet and vanity unit. From the living room through double doors you reach a lovely sun terrace shaded by an old oak tree. From this terrace you have a wide view and you can enjoy, in privacy, a drink with a nice piece of French cheese. The nature house also has a jacuzzi/spa waiting for you, so you can enjoy the sunset or the views from the spa.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the department of Lot-et-Garonne, on the outer borders of the Périgord (Dordogne). The charm and beauty of the rolling, hilly landscape make Douzains an ideal vacation spot for those who love peace, nature and beautiful, old towns. Its convenient geographical location makes it easy to visit the bastide towns in the area from Douzains, including Monpazier, Villeréal, Castillonnès and Monflaquin. But the beautiful castles of Biron, Bonaquil and Duras are also a stone's throw away. Of course, you can also take a larger tour to medieval towns, such as Sarlat and Agen, and end it through the wine regions of Bergerac or Cahors. From May through September, the region hosts a variety of markets, celebrations and festivals. For example, during July and August there is a "food market" every Tuesday evening in Eymet, on Monday evenings in Villereal and on Friday evenings in Montaut. Every Sunday there is a nice market in Issigeac. For children there are several amusement parks in the area, including Walibi-parc in Agen and Survival-parc in La Capelle-Biron.
