Nature house in Maella

The completely self-sufficient nature house is located on a dead-end road on a plateau just below the top of a mountain. The last six kilometers are unpaved and wind through the landscape. On a plot of about 80,000m², surrounded by the olive and almond trees where you can relax with nothing or no one around you. After a total restoration by a Spanish contractor, the landlords find out time and again how much they enjoy this silence and the feeling of freedom. The thousands of stars you see at night because there is no light pollution are simply unfathomable. A single plane at 10,000 meters altitude you can occasionally hear very far away (that's how quiet it is here).

The nature house is beautifully hilly near the village of Maella (12 kilometers away), on the border of the province of Aragon and the Terra Alta region of Catalonia. The cottage is less than an hour and a half drive from Reus or Zaragosa airports. You can walk directly from the house, but also, for example, in the beautiful natural park Els Estrets or in the Matarrana region, already called the Spanish Tuscany! Three kilometers from the nature house is a reservoir where you can swim. A little further away there are numerous rivers in which you can swim. The Costa Dourada is 100 kilometers from the house.
