Nature house in Goujounac

In the unspoiled Bouriane, near the picturesque village of Goujounac, stands this characterful, completely detached nature house. This sturdy 'maison' from 1848 has been tastefully renovated and equipped with all modern conveniences. The thick walls keep the house nice and cool in summer. The kitchen is very spacious and has a separate dining area. The living room is slightly elevated and has doors to a covered veranda. In the large garden are several terraces - both sunny and shady - and next to the house is the fenced private pool. Next to the pool is a covered terrace with loungers. At the pool there is also an outdoor shower with water heated by the sun's heat. Next to the nature house is a raised dining area with a fixed barbecue. From the garden you have a fantastic view of the lower landscape. The garden is completely fenced. Nearby is a supermarket and a fantastic, small hot bakery and within walking distance are two restaurants.

The Bouriane, with beautiful Gourdon as its capital, located between the Dordogne and Lot rivers, is characterized by rolling countryside with stream valleys and characteristic villages. The house is located in the quiet, undiscovered part of this region, but just south of the Dordogne department and the touristically attractive places such as Sarlat, Domme and Rocamadour. From the nature house you can start several walks, of different lengths. In the house there are plenty of maps and plans with descriptions. The surroundings are beautiful: forests, interspersed with small meadows, unspoiled villages.... For dog owners it is an eldorado: from the garden you quickly walk into the forest with a small forest lake. The house is an excellent base for the nearby tourist attractions of the Dordogne, but is itself quietly situated in the French countryside. Nearby are several swimming possibilities, both in recreational lakes (five minutes by car) and in the Lot River (15 minutes by car).
