On the outskirts of the village of Saint Auvent stands the old village school on 4000 m² of land. The former canteen of the little school has been converted into an attractive nature house. It stands free on the property and you will find everything you need for a relaxing vacation all year round. This detached nature house is located on a small vacation domain where, in addition to this cottage, another gîte and rooms are rented. There is a swimming pool on the property. From the terrace at the rear of the cottage you have a beautiful view of the green valley of the river De Gorre and the castle of Saint Auvent. Several days a week there is a possibility to use Table d'hôte.

The nature house is located in the hilly, green landscape of the Haute Vienne on the outskirts of the village of Saint Auvent. In the village there is a small supermarket where one can get fresh bread daily, there is also a restaurant in the village. In St Junien, 15 kilometers away, there are large supermarkets, stores, restaurants and a weekly commodity market. Saint Auvent is located in a beautiful rural setting with several major cities nearby: Limoges, Angouleme, Brive and Perigeux. Definitely worth a visit is the impressive war memorial Oradour sur Glane. Furthermore, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling, swimming, golf, and so on.
