Welcome to the silence! Our nature house in southern Norway was built in 2010. The area is easily accessible by car from the Netherlands and the area has much to offer. The comfortably furnished six-person nature house is located on a hyttegrend at 300 meters altitude. From the hytte and in the surrounding area you can fully enjoy the beautiful nature. Because of its central location, many beautiful trips can be made by car, to the coast or further into the mountains. In the living room with wood stove are comfortable furniture, there is TV (NL channels) and there are books, games and children's toys. There is no WIFI. The bathroom is heated with electric floor heating. Downstairs is the master bedroom with double bed (two mattresses and two single comforters). Upstairs are two bedrooms with two (movable) beds each. You can use towels and sheets that are provided. Final cleaning and laundry you have to take care of yourself!
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on a dead-end path at the edge of the rocks, this allows you to enjoy privacy and an unobstructed view on the large, sunny, wooden terrace. Around the terrace is a lockable gate, making it safe for small children. From the nature house you can make beautiful walks over the rocks and through the forest. As usual in Norway, you can enjoy plenty of berries and raspberries that you encounter along the way. Water for swimming or fishing can be found less than a half-hour walk away and for mountain bikers this area is a true paradise! Of course there are wonderful tours by car, both to the coast and into the mountains. There are information leaflets and (hiking) maps in the cottage. There are various activities at Treungen and the Nisser: there is a museum; for children there is an indoor playground
