Nature house in Heerewaarden

The nature cottage is a large, black, wooden barn of 6 by 10 meters with underfloor heating, wood stove and fenced garden. Located between the two rivers Meuse and Waal in a beautiful, rugged hiking area. We live in the same yard and have a labrador. Suitable for outdoor people, nature lovers, creatives and bon vivants. Pets welcome (the cottage is completely fenced). There is a nice shower and open kitchen, so you can cook for yourself. Even cooking outside is possible. Upstairs is a double bed (200 by 160 cm). One of the 2 people can sleep on the couch downstairs. Grocery shopping is possible within cycling distance. We only rent for a week or longer periods. So then you rent for example from Mon - Mon or from Wo-Wo etc. Everything is available: Internet, TV, bed linen, towels and tea towels, Nespresso machine & pick-up. Arrival from 2pm to 3pm. Later arrival is no problem. You can also check in yourself. We will contact you by app on arrival day.

The area is great for walking loose with your dog. You walk through the floodplains along the Meuse and Waal rivers with dozens of private beaches where you can sunbathe, picnic or swim. The area is also very suitable for cycling. You then cycle over the dikes along the Waal, where you can enjoy the storks everywhere. You can also visit the town of Zaltbommel (12 minutes), where you should definitely visit the Bommels Bakhuys for lunch or dinner, or go to Burgundy Den Bosch (25 minutes).
