This nature house is an apartment for a short stay in the province of Groningen. The cottage was built with natural materials and is energy neutral. Fully furnished and fully equipped with a fine kitchen and bathroom. Rural location within walking distance of nature t Roegwold and the Schildmeer. Near the city of Groningen (15 kilometers), the Wad (25 kilometers) and the Eemshaven (35 kilometers). A former miller's house. Instead of a mill there is now a pumping station. A simple cottage with its own garden and terrace. From the terrace you look out over t Roegwold and the drainage canal.
Nature and surroundings
The area is much visited by hikers and people interested in birds. Staying in this nature house could serve as an overnight stay near this unique area. The distance is a five-minute walk and from the dike there is a wide view of 't Roegwold. Via or along the water the Schildmeer is easily accessible from the nature house. By bicycle you can follow the bicycle junctions, which run along the Westerpaauwenweg.
