Nature house in Les Ancizes

In a hidden spot, where you can only get to by a stone staircase and a short forest path, amid a sea of greenery, very private lies this two-person cottage overlooking a disused railroad bridge. Downstairs is the living area with wood stove, kitchen (including dishwasher), a kitchen table, a sitting area and a shower room with shower and toilet. Upstairs is the sleeping area with double bed (NL sizes) and there is storage space for your suitcases, for example. From the window there is a beautiful view of the railroad bridge, which is illuminated during the summer months. There is no TV in the house, but there is a stereo and wifi. Because the cottage is accessible only by stairs and a short forest path from the road, it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

This is really a place for those seeking peace and quiet and lovers of nature. From the cottage you can take walks on the numerous hiking trails in the area. There is a booklet with hiking trails. About 10 minutes drive away in the village of Les Ancizes are supermarket, restaurants, bar, gas station, bank, tabac/presse, office de tourisme and other stores. In the surrounding villages there are weekly markets and brocantes are often organized. Some of the attractions in the area: The volcanic area La Chaine des Puys, Puy de Dôme, Gorges of the river La Sioule (swimming, canoeing, fishing), the méander of Queuille, the crater lake Le Gour de Tarzenat, Clermont Ferrand.
