Nature house in Graauw

Sleep under a canvas tent, but in a real bed with good mattresses. In short, a wonderful shelter with all the necessary comforts. This nature house brings you really close to nature. Its location, in the middle of a food forest, has its charms in all seasons. There is one bedroom with a double canopy bed and a closet. The other bedroom has two bunk beds. On all beds are single comforters and pillows. In the spacious living/cooking area there is a four-burner gas stove, refrigerator, sink with cold running water and the necessary kitchen utensils. The living/cooking area is separated from the sleeping area by a wooden wall. There is electricity and a gas stove. The sanitary building with showers, toilets and dishwashing area is within walking distance. The hosts use a helophyte filter, an in-house wastewater treatment system. As a result, only biodegradable products may be used.

You will find the nature house in the middle of the polders of Graauw, a hamlet near the river Scheldt, between the orchards and fields. It is wonderful cycling, walking or touring along the dikes in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, enjoying wide views over the fields. For nature lovers, the Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands, is just around the corner. Looking for history, culture, the Burgundian lifestyle, conviviality and shopping? You'll find it all in the fortified town of Hulst, eight kilometers from Graauw. Or take a day trip to Antwerp (25 min) or Ghent (45 min). The sea, the fields, and the orchards; everywhere you see fresh, flavorful products, often with that typical salty undertone. Already within few kilometers from the nature house you will find several special cafes and restaurants. If you do not want to sunbathe and swim on one of the nearby Westerschelde beaches, you will find the beaches of Zeeland less than an hour away.
